Midland Centre     About 2021...
About 2021... Cont'd...
The Midland Centre firmly believe that its time to consider some new ideas for getting the MG's meeting again in our region during the Spring and Summer in 2021.

In total, the Midland Centre are planning 14 specific events during the year to enable Midland Centre Members to have a Run out in their MG's and give them the opportunity to meet fellow owners and enjoy some real MG Midland Fellowship. We would really like as many of you to be involved with them, so take this opportunity to add them into your personal diary now.

For more information, continued updates and the very latest news on them all please follow the link to the 'Events' page throughout the year. In addition a full list of the forthcoming two months events will be listed within the Midlands Centre page in all monthly Safety Fast Magazines during 2021.
Auto Solo at the MGCC Social at Gaydon 9th October 2021 ...
MGCC are running a Clubman’s AutoSOLO at Gaydon as part of the MG Car Club Social at the British Motor Museum 9th October 21.

Run on a smooth tarmac surface, this event is designed to encourage those perhaps new to AutoSOLOS to have a go at this most affordable form of motorsport, not least the Young Members Branch of the Club.

Open to any MGCC member in any MG, experienced or not!

The tests will be forwards only, no stop start or reversing, with a flying finish before a final stop astride line where you must stop to collect your marked timecard. You will be given three runs at each test with the fastest two runs to count towards the results.

The emphasis is on driver skill rather than memory or outright speed, although drivers can elect to carry a navigator if required. The course layout, a combination of numbered gates, slaloms and easy turns, is designed to suit all MG cars.

The event runs from 10:00am until 1:00pm on the 9th October 2021. Entrants must hold an entry ticket for this event.

For more information please contact Noel Lindford at: noel.lindford@btinternet.com

NEWSFLASH - Our Midlands Centre grass track trial scheduled for the 26 September and being staged  at East Lodge Farm, Bromsgrove has proved to be a sell out.

Roger King, Centre Chairman, commented:-

"We are delighted at the enthusiastic response we have had from the trialling community, and especially from those new to the sport. Event organisers Tony Lake and Adrian Tucker Peake have pulled out all the stops to make this a success and hearty thanks are due to them. With some challenging slopes and timed tests this will once again prove to be an enjoyable event."
Are your personal details correct at Kimber House?

An increasing amount of correspondence and general communication in business is being conducted using websites and electronic mail, which does make communication easier, faster and  cheaper for clubs like the MGCC to interact with its members.

However, this can only be successful if members' details at Kimber House are accurate and up-to-date. To ensure that you receive all of the latest information, the Committee recommend all Midland Centre members check their own personal details for accuracy with Kimber House.
Members can now make amendments on the MG Car Club Website.
